Tour overview

Pench National Park in the southernmost part of Madhya Pradesh is one of the diverse National Park in India. The National Park is dominated by 60 per cent teak tree and other 40 % is mixed forest with Garadi, Palash Baheda, Saaj, Jamun and many more. The National park has come into the light first by one of the Tigress called as Collarwali which holds the Guinness world record of giving birth to highest number of cubs (29) in her life time. She died of old age at the age of 16 on 15 th Jan 2022.

Now recently the Park has been highlighted by one of the rarer than rare melanistic Leopard, Black Panther. In 2020 there was a male leopard with complete black appearance however, it could not keep the area for long so he is pushed away from the tourism area and created his
territory outside the tourism zone. Now since June 2022 a female again with black appearance roam all around the Teliya and Khursapar zone of Pench National Park. There has been almost regular sightings of the same from last few months.

This itinerary will take you to the mowgli land and gives you the opportunity to see most of the character of it, Black Panther as Bagheera, Sloth Bear as Balu, Tigers as Sher Khan, Wolves as Pack of Akela and Racksha as Wolves, Kaa as Indian Rock Python and many other characters are still there. So let explore the Mowgli Land.

We did 5 days of safaris with Sharad Vats's team, in Kanga and Pench, in April 2022. Right from the planning to the actual execution, Sharad was accessible, knowledgeable and helpful, to ensure we got a good experience. Not only was the itinerary planned and tweaked multiple times to suit us, but our accommodation and food needs were also taken care of well...

Unforgettable. We had an amazing and totally unforgettable trip to India organised by Nature Safari India, in particular Deepkul (and previously Manjeet). I organised the trip 2 years ago just as the pandemic hit, I had been communicating with Nature Safari India constantly for quite a few months until we finalised on an itinerary, nothing was too much trouble...

Nature Safari India Helped Us Fall In Love With India. Our trip with Nature Safari India was a trip of a lifetime that vastly exceeded our expectations! As a little kid I'd always dreamt of taking a tiger safari in India, but never imagined how life changing it could be. When my wife and I began planning our trip there were so many unknowns. I honestly didn't even know...

We recommend only booking drives exclusively with your own party.

White and other bright colours should be avoided. Use earthy hues such as greens, beige, brown, and black. Similar to how strong body deodorants and perfumes should be avoided around animals since they have keen senses of smell, both of which might cause the animals to flee. Bright hues might also draw insects.
Since the vehicles are open, it is advised to carry a light jacket even in the heat.
Although it’s not often, light rains can happen at any time of year in the forest, so it’s a good idea to have a rain jacket along with proper protection for your electronics.

Inside, any kind of photography equipment is allowed. However, all documentary/cine cameras need prior authorization, and their costs are incredibly exorbitant. The usage of drones near national parks and residential areas is absolutely forbidden.
