Reaching Panna National Park

About Panna Naitonal Park

Panna National Park made conservation of tigers history. After losing every Tiger to deliberate poaching from 2006 to 2008, it was successful in relocating 3 tigers from other reserves in 2009. These tigers chose Panna National Park as their home, and because to the tireless work of Mr. Murthy, the field director at the time, the tiger population now numbers 55. (cubs included). Currently, this park is home to over 300 different bird species, deer, monkeys, sloth bears, crocodiles, tigers, and leopards. Boat safaris are a fantastic alternative to Jeep safaris for viewing the Crocodiles and riverine birds in the Ken.

This park has the unique superpower to simultaneously excite and relax you—like it’s a diamond mine to India. The forest is certainly a gem concealed, harbouring diversity in its belly and protecting its land since the recent past of 2008. All it needs is a boat ride on the Ken to realise this. Panna Tiger Reserve stands on the pristine grounds of a broad leaf dry deciduous forest after years of hunting.
